The index is on a CD and contains more than 18,000 street and other names, linked to very large and clear images of Edward Stanford's Library Map of London and Its Suburbs, 1862. The final editing of the index was carried out by Ralph Hyde, formerly Keeper of Prints and Maps at the Guildhall Library in the City of London. The CD also contains commentary by Ralph Hyde on Edward Stanford and his maps. No special software is required. The price of the CD in the UK is £27.50 including mailing and VAT, outside the UK US$45 or equivalent including mailing and non sterling cheque/check processing.
