IMAGES OF GREAT BRITAIN FROM THE MOTCO IMAGE DATABASE

Indexes (left) by place name and by county/district of 18th and 19th century topographical prints of Great Britain. There are currently nine series of prints in the database with views outside London, including the recent addition of possibly the greatest topographical plate book ever published, William Daniell's Voyage Round Great Britain. At this stage the database is limited, some locations may only have one entry. The index uses modern name spellings.
(Please note this is "work in progress", indexing standards are being defined.)
